BMCA Summer Meeting on Monday, June 12 at 7:00pm

The Boulevard Manor Civic Association (BMCA) will hold its Summer General Meeting at the Church of the Brethren, 300 N Montague Street, on Monday, June 12, beginning promptly at 7:00 pm. Learn about the latest for the Reeves farm house, what your neighbors are doing to use solar power and other energy sources, the latest plans  for Upton Hill Regional Park, and other matters of interest to our neighborhood.  And don’t forget the election of BMCA officers and Board members.  I look forward to seeing  you on Monday evening!

Meeting agenda:

  • Arlington County Board member Christian Dorsey and Rev. Jon Smoot, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia, will discuss new developments in efforts to preserve and reuse the Reeves farm house.
  • Arlington County Energy Manager John Morrill will join a panel discussion on solar energy.
  • Paul Gilbert, Executive Director of NOVA Parks, will present conceptual designs for updates to Upton Hill Regional Park.
  • Upcoming events.
  • BMCA Committee reports.
  • Annual elections will be held for BMCA officers and for open BMCA Board positions.
