Trust we won’t have another snow shower, cold wind and rain — Please join us on Saturday, May 7, from 10AM-noon as we continue rehabilitating the woods at Powhatan Springs Park. Arlington Master Naturalists will join us. We will be removing garlic mustard, any other remaining invasives, and trash.

We will have some bags for trash and there may be some clipping tools available in case there are any remaining clumps of ivy to be removed, but better if you can bring some of your own. I assume given the time of year, you will come with gloves and pants that cover your ankles which will help guard against poison ivy exposure.

You should be able to find the group easily as we will be at the back end of the Powhatan Springs Park parking lot.

We have made a lot of progress in the last couple of years restoring and improving the woods. Hope you can help keep the project moving forward for another year! Thanks and look forward to seeing you there.
