APS has not started construction for the Ashlawn school access at Montague Street by the end of September after all. We don’t know the reasons for the delay and why construction did not begin in September as APS had told us at the community meeting on September 8. APS recently updated us that they would let the community have a week’s notice, however, before construction commences. In answer to some of the community’s questions: Yes, APS will close the back entrance to the school during construction.
