3.       Questions will be limited to a maximum of 30 seconds only and be limited to a “single” question.  Compound and follow-up questions by the same individual will not be allowed.

Timing will be rigidly enforced – the moderator will cut-off questions exceeding the timeframe set forth above.

 Approval of the Nominating Committee

In accordance with the BMCA Bylaws, the membership will elect a nominating committee to choose a slate of candidates for the 2008-2009 Officers and Board positions.  At least 5 Board seats will be open.

Subject to the membership approval, the nominating committee will be composed of Phil Klingelhofer (703-524-5438), Dori Byron (703-243-4025), and Lee Dioso (703-351-9645).   If you would like to know more about opportunities, than talk to one of the Officers or Board members shown on the back of this page.

Proposal Amendment to the Bylaws

A proposal to amend the Civic Association bylaws has been advertised. Article V states: "The regular meetings of the Association shall be held during the months of February, May, and October at a time and place to be designated by the Board of Directors."  The proposal would move the May meeting to June.

Budget Proposal

An appointed budget committee comprised of Larry Goldschmidt, Dori Byron, Rob Pilot, and Rich Massabny, will present a proposed budget for approval by the membership.
